Anita Barone
Anita Barone is a versatile stage actor who's been mostly confined to TV sitcoms. Her first stage appearance in the year she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a show that aired ABC between 1995 to 1996. Barone's first appearance on stage began at age five years old, in Detroit where her family had relocated out of St Louis. When she was 23, Barone was already in more than 50 plays. A majority of them were on stage in university and regional theaters. Her stage credits include Juliet as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Helen Keller in a production in "Monday after the Miracle" as well as the lead performance of Agnes who is a young, tormented nun, on the stage in "Agnes of God." She made her screen debut with a small role for the role of "The Rosary Murders" in "The Roseary Murders" (1987) she also played a bit on screen in "Ricochet" (1991) and she was given a role as the lead actress in the romantic comedy indie "Just Friends" (1996). Barone was hired by NBC from 1990 to 1991 as a stockholder for "Carol & Company" which was the failed attempt by Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety series. Barone played the role as a character in "Wounded Heart" which was a 1995 USA Network film. She returned to weekly sitcoms, co-starring in "Daddio", NBC 2000 and alongside Michael Chiklis.
